January - July 2022
We’re delighted to share the next part of our 2021/22 Season and hope you will join us in the New Year for the amazing concerts we have planned.
This Season is one of mixed emotions, as Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla conducts her final concerts as Music Director and we welcome back Kazuki Yamada, our Chief Conductor and Artistic Advisor designate. We're also joined by a host of exciting soloists including Patricia Kopatchinsjaka, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Gabriela Montero as well as debuts from Fatma Said, Daishin Kashimoto, Clara Jumi-Kang, Daniel Lozakovich, Clare Hammond and Mahan Esfahani.
Other highlights include the first ever performance of Handel’s Messiah by the CBSO Chorus, a special celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, a rush hour concert and our new cohort of Youth Ambassadors presenting their reinvention of the concert experience. We’ve also got more brilliant Family Concerts, relaxed concerts, and fun-filled Friday nights featuring ABBA, Movie Magic and an Opera Gala, for you to enjoy!
