Get closer to our musicians and discover one of Birmingham’s best kept musical secrets: a series of short, informal concerts programmed and introduced by our musicians at CBSO Centre.
After a very emotional return to Centre Stage concerts in September, we’re delighted to bring you more tantalizing performances by our wonderful musicians! The fantastic El Ultimo Tango group present you with the dazzling music of Piazzolla plus their own take on Bach’s Goldberg Variations, whilst the wind sections will tackle the brilliant music of Poulenc, Krommer, Gipps and Mozart! We’re also excited that the Little Big Time Band will make a welcome return to the Centre! These are just a few of the many wonderful concerts ahead.
Your support through these most uncertain of times is enormously appreciated by all of the musicians and we cannot emphasise enough the emotional impact of live music making, both for us and for you. It is such a privilege to perform for you in a more intimate setting and bring you classical (and non classical) masterpieces from outside the orchestral repertoire.
