Celebrate Christmas with the CBSO!
What could be more uplifting than the CBSO’s annual Christmas concerts at Symphony Hall?
Featuring the full City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and our massed choirs and performers from across the whole city and beyond, these feelgood festive favourites are overflowing with good cheer, magical sounds and seasonal music old and new, all beautifully wrapped and delivered with a smile by our special guest presenter Karthi Gnanasegaram and our world-famous Chorus Director, Simon Halsey CBE. These concerts are hugely popular, so be sure to book early and treat the whole family to a feast of festive musical magic.
We'll be fundraising at this concert to help support the work of the CBSO (Charity No. 506276) and our partners at St Basils (Charity No.1080154). St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 to enable them to find and keep a home, grow their confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities and prevent homelessness. You'll be able to spot our volunteers holding donation buckets at each door, so please do give generously.
Please note that at this year’s CBSO Choral Christmas Concerts we will not be inviting the audience to sing along with our choirs. We very much hope that this much-loved feature of our concerts will return next year. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that this performance is not eligible for a package discount within our January - July 2022 Season, and therefore will not contribute to a package discount when booked in conjunction with performances from this season.
Tickets can be booked:
Online or by phone - the phone lines (0121 780 3333) are open Monday-Saturday 10am – 2pm.
