Beethoven said of his eleventh string quartet that it was ‘written for a small circle of connoisseurs and is never to be performed in public.’ Join our own group of connoisseurs to listen for the influence of Beethoven’s ground-breaking tonal ambiguity and chromatic harmony in Schumann’s String Quartet No. 3.
