CBSO Benevolent Fund Concert
Price: £13 - £55
inc. per ticket commission
The CBSO Benevolent Fund is a registered friendly society no. 735F, supporting CBSO players and staff.

Featuring
Programme
- Wagner Rienzi: Overture, 13′
- Strauss Four Last Songs, 22′
- Brahms Symphony No. 2, 42′
At the end of a long life, Richard Strauss gazed into the sunset, and well, let's just say there's a reason why his Four Last Songs are such a favourite on Desert Island Discs. And that few living sopranos sing them more gloriously than Lucy Crowe. And Wagner's barnstorming overture and Brahms' sunniest symphony, and supporting the CBSO Benevolent Fund has never sounded so good.
