Get closer to our musicians and discover one of Birmingham's best kept musical secrets, a series of short, informal concerts programmed and introduced by our musicians at CBSO Centre.
El Ultimo Tango was created by our principal cellist, Eduardo Vassallo, in 2002. The ensemble specialises in Argentinian music with particular emphasis on the music of Astor Piazzolla. For this Centre Stage performance, they present a selection of works by Piazzolla alongside their own take on Bach’s Goldberg Variations, which they call ‘Bachissimo!’
