Folk Music.

  • Bartók Duos for 2 violins
  • A selection of Scottish, Hungarian and Moldovan folk tunes

Get closer to our musicians and discover one of Birmingham's best kept musical secrets, a series of short, informal concerts programmed and introduced by our musicians at CBSO Centre.

‘Return to the root and you will find the meaning’ wrote the poet Sengcan in the 1st century. In the 21st century, Kirsty Lovie, Adam Römer and Tamás Ferenc are doing just that, with a touching programme of Scottish, Hungarian and Moldovan folk tunes.

Performance durations vary, but are usually less than 1 hour.
A selection of delicious cakes and hot drinks will be available to buy up to an hour before the performances.
