Haydn To Beethoven.

Programme

  • Haydn Piano Concerto in D major20′
  • Mozart Symphony No. 4028′
  • Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 137′

Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven weren’t only great composers – they were electrifying performers as well. True, they can’t be with us tonight, but we’ve got the next best thing as the “mesmerising” (The Daily Telegraph) Piotr Anderszewski conducts Mozart’s tragic 40th Symphony, and then plays and conducts two dazzlingly entertaining concertos by Beethoven and Haydn – just like they would have done!
