Join us for an evening of classic British cinema in this gripping adventure film from 1948 accompanied by live orchestra.
“To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield”: the 1948 film Scott of the Antarctic is a true classic of British cinema, shot in spectacular full colour. Complete with a stirring soundtrack by Ralph Vaughan Williams – performed live by our wonderful Orchestra and conductor Martyn Brabbins – discover the story of Robert Falcon Scott and his dramatic and ill-fated attempt to reach the South Pole.
Please note, there will be no interval in this concert.
