From the royal court of 17th century England to the New Mexico desert; from the cloisters of Gloucester Cathedral to the Sussex Downs. British music spans centuries as well as continents, and today Mirga and the CBSO embark on a truly fantastic adventure in time and space – featuring Midlands-born cello superstar Sheku Kanneh-Mason in Elgar’s hugely popular Cello Concerto.
CBSO+ 5.30pm: Join some of our long-standing audience members as they share their CBSO memories in this unique pre-concert event.
Please note the pre-concert talk will now start at 5.30pm, 15 minutes earlier than previously advertised, due to the Making an Entrance redevelopments. You will be asked to show your ticket for access into the pre-concert talk, and then invited to take your seat for the concert immediately after the talk concludes. Times of talks will be listed on the concert pages of the CBSO and THSH’s websites in advance, please check before making travel plans.
