The CBSO Community Board and Say Arts are proud to present an evening with Chahat Mahmood Ali Qawwal. Chahat Ali’s talent has already garnered international recognition, with the Financial Times stating, ‘he is 21 years of age and yet sings like the masters’. Blending tradition with youthful energy, powerful vocals, intricate melodies and deep reverence for spiritual tradition, Chahat Ali creates an electrifying and immersive experience.

Following his acclaimed performance at Kings Place, London (May 2025), Chahat and his dynamic ensemble now bring their magic to the CBSO Centre. Expect an immersive evening of qawwali in Urdu, Punjabi, and Persian, as the group pays homage to legendary Sufi poets such as Baba Bulleh Shah and Miyaan Muhammad Baksh.
