Join the CBSO on a trip to New York, selling our souls to the devil on the way, in a performance of Wynton Marsalis’ A Fiddler’s Tale – think smoky jazz, tango, comedy, and loads of drama.
In a twist on previous Symphonic Sessions, this will be a full-length immersive performance, complete with live music and narration. Jazz legend Wynton Marsalis’ jazzy take on Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale tells the age-old story of selling your soul to the devil for something you really want – and what happens next…
As always, there’ll be mouth-watering street food from Hockley’s vendors and a well-stocked bar. Plus, Echo Juliet will be DJ-ing before and after to keep the mood going.
Doors open at 6pm with bar service and hot food available from Hockley favourites Chef Dan Lee, Only Jerkin’ and Patty Freaks. Last orders for hot food by 7.45pm. Live music from 8pm.
