American singer-songwriter Sam Amidon returns to Symphonic Sessions this November for an evening of song, storytelling and folk music at Birmingham’s Hockley Social Club.
Whether you’re a life-long fan or a folk first timer, the combination of Sam’s dreamy vocals layered with the warm tones of strings from the CBSO (arranged by Nico Muhly) promise for a special evening…
As always, there’ll be mouth-watering street food from Hockley’s vendors and a well-stocked bar. Dai Pai Dong, Beef On the Block and Greidy's Wings & Strips will be serving up their distinctive flavours at this performance. Plus, Nina McKendrick will be DJ-ing before and after to keep the mood going.
