Mendelssohn, Bruch and Maxwell-Davies each paint a vibrant picture of Scotland's wild and wonderful landscape, from the glowing warmth of sunrise to the rugged ruins of Holyrood Abbey at night. Performing these works today, are the finest players from the CBSO’s world-class Youth Orchestra who bring their unstoppable energy to this Scottish-inspired programme.

About Youth Orchestra Academy

Due to a technical issue with staging at Town Hall, the CBSO Youth Orchestra Academy concert will now take place at Symphony Hall. All tickets will still be valid and seating will be unreserved within the stalls area of Symphony Hall. The programme and performers remain unchanged. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. B:Music will contact everyone who has purchased tickets.
