What are your favourite things about summer? Outdoor concerts, or beaches and barbecues? Long evenings spent with loved ones, or early morning walks with four legged friends?
Whatever it is, we’ve got a favour to ask. We want you to put us in the picture and share your favourite summer photos with us, so that we can create a summer photo slideshow which we’ll display onscreen as we play Mendelssohn’s Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream at our Friday Night Classics: Summer Classics concerts on Friday 2 July. Clearly not everyone will be able to be at the concert, so to ensure no-one feels left out we’ll also share these images on our social media on the same day.
So if you’ve captured a summer moment that you love and that you’d like to share with us, simply email it to email@example.com by 12pm on Friday 25 June telling us how you'd like the photo credited, where the picture was taken and we'll do the rest.
We can’t wait for you to share your summer with us!
How to submit a picture
We can only accept high resolution photos emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12pm on Friday 25 June 2021 and we will display these on our screen at the concert on Friday 2 July as the orchestra play Mendelssohn’s Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream, and on our CBSO social media channels.
Terms and conditions
Photographs will be selected by the CBSO communications team from those submitted and all photos used on our screen will be credited.
If you submit an image, you do so in accordance with the CBSO’s Terms and Conditions.
In contributing to Share your Summer with the CBSO you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any CBSO social media posting worldwide.
It's important to note, however, that you still own the copyright to everything you contribute to Share your Summer with the CBSO and that if your image is accepted, we will endeavour to publish your photo credit alongside it. The CBSO cannot guarantee that all pictures will be used however.
At no time should you endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or infringe any laws collecting any kind of media.
