The CBSO is proud to be a partner organisation for Foot in the Door, a series of courses for young creatives aged 16 - 23.
The Foot in the Door courses will enable young people to grow their employability skills, give them up to 90 hours experience working within an organisation and get a head start in the creative sector. FITD is an opportunity for 60 young creatives throughout 2017 to build a legacy in the creative and cultural industry in Birmingham.
Creative Alliance is the leading learning provider within the creative and cultural sector in the Midlands. They are working with 10 partner organisations, including the CBSO, with funding from Arts Connect, to help the city’s creative talent, aged 16-23, to get a foot in the door of this sector. They especially want to encourage those from a diverse background who may not have had such an opportunity before. You don’t need any prior experience, just the will to get stuck in and an open mind!
On the link below you can find out about the course, and the four FREE briefing sessions - and even how to nominate a friend/family member for this course if you think it is suitable for them too!
