Open rehearsals provide a fantastic insight to a working rehearsal as the Orchestra and conductor makes their final preparations to the music before the concert. If you are a CBSO Member, you're invited to be there!
Tim, who volunteers as a CBSO representative at the rehearsals, gives us his thoughts:
"As a Friend and then an Overture Circle member, I have found that a favourite benefit of CBSO membership is the ability to attend the 2-3 hour open rehearsals before concerts. It helps me not only to better understand the works, but also to appreciate what the conductor and musicians want to achieve and this makes the final performance even more enjoyable." Tim Marshall - Overture Circle
