Abby Corfan leads on the marketing, digital and communications strategies of the CBSO, with responsibility for branding, advocacy, PR, digital development, and ticket income targets.
Abby has worked in the arts in the West Midlands for over a decade since graduating from the University of Warwick with a degree in Modern & Renaissance History. Her previous roles include Marketing & Press Manager at DanceXchange, where she led on marketing for the organisation's flagship festival International Dance Festival Birmingham. She has a Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Diploma and completed the Clore Leadership Programme Short Course. She is a Board Member for the Arts Marketing Association, and in May 2016 was awarded Birmingham Young Professional of the Year.
