The CBSO Endowment is a fund which is invested to provide the orchestra with reliable, regular funding in perpetuity. It is managed by professional fund managers and is held by the CBSO Development Trust (registered charity no: 1042296), a sister charity to the CBSO, which makes an annual grant to the orchestra.
The Endowment was established in 2012, and as a result of a number of generous legacies and donations it reached a value of £2 million within its first three years. Our long-term aim is to build a very substantial fund which will contribute a significant proportion of the CBSO's running costs year by year. By leaving a legacy to the CBSO Development Trust's Endowment you would help us to become more self-sufficient for the long term.
To speak to someone in confidence about leaving the CBSO a legacy or a gift in someone's memory, please contact Eve Vines on 0121 616 6541 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
