The CBSO Woodwind Team would like to present:

“All About The Bass!”

A one-day workshop for Cor Anglais, Bass Clarinet and Contrabassoon all about taking chances, making mistakes and sharing knowledge

Saturday 23rd March 2019 at CBSO Centre, Birmingham

Designed specifically for Cor Angais, Bass Clarinet and Contrabassoon players, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with CBSO players Margaret Cookhorn (Contrabassoon), Rachael Pankhurst (Cor Anglais) and Mark O’Brien (Bass Clarinet).

This full-day session will include a range of interactive workshops and will conclude with an informal sharing to enable participants to share their work from the day with friends and family. The day will be held at the CBSO’s own rehearsal space (CBSO Centre, Berkley Street, Birmingham, B1 2LF) from 10:00 - 17:00 (with the final sharing taking place at approximately 16:30).

Attendance at the day costs £90 per person. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so apply now to avoid disappointment.

Please note, there is no minimum standard requirement to take part in this event, however participants must be aged 18 years and over and must be able to bring their own instrument on the day.

Application deadline: 5pm on Friday 22 February 2019.
