Join us at the home of the CBSO for an informal afternoon performance, programmed and introduced by CBSO musicians. These concerts give audiences the chance to get closer to the music and experience the artistry of our orchestra members in an intimate setting.

This concert showcases the best of 20th century British music in a complimentary combination of the flute and harp. Alwyn's Naiades Fantasy Sonata for Flute and Harp is delicate and captivating, relishing in dissonance, whilst Harty's In Ireland exhibits influences from Irish folk music, depicting two wondering street musicians in Dublin at dusk.

Centre Stage concerts are generously supported by John Osborn CBE.
