The CBSO is delighted to be offering the Winner of the 2025 Dudley International Piano Competition the opportunity to perform a concerto with the orchestra in a future season, as part of a long-standing relationship with the competition.

As well as welcoming the Winner to Symphony Hall for a performance, our commitment to this year’s competition will also see a member of the CBSO on the judging panel for the Final.

Emma Stenning, Chief Executive of the CBSO, says: "We’re so thrilled to be continuing our long relationship with the Dudley International Piano Competition. For 15 years, the CBSO has offered participants and winners of the competition opportunities to work with and learn from our incredible musicians and together with John, we’re so pleased to be continuing to develop and further our plans to support this incredible platform for new talent."

John Humphreys, Director of the Dudley International Piano Competition, says: “The Dudley International Piano Competition is immensely grateful to the CBSO for its generous support of the competition over many years and in particular for agreeing to award a concerto opportunity, the CBSO Prize to the winner of the 2025 competition.”
