As the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra prepares for CBSO in the City, we are pleased to announce that NBB Waldrons has confirmed its continued support for this year’s events.
Now in its third year, CBSO in the City returns over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with NBB Waldrons’ generous support helping the CBSO perform free of charge for tens of thousands of residents across Birmingham.
The CBSO will fill the city with music, popping up in unexpected spaces. At Birmingham’s iconic Bullring Shopping Centre, some audience members will even have the chance to conduct the orchestra. Across the city, musicians will appear in places where Birmingham already gathers - including libraries, gardens, museums, cafés and New Street station.
We are delighted that NBB Waldrons has renewed its commitment to CBSO in the City for a third consecutive year. Under Rob Bhol’s leadership, the firm continues to show unwavering support for the CBSO, and I am especially grateful for the way NBB Waldrons has embraced our vision for what CBSO in the City can offer residents across Birmingham. Rob’s personal support of the Orchestra goes back many years, and I want to extend my particular thanks to him for championing our work and partnership. We look forward to an ever-deepening relationship between the CBSO and NBB Waldrons.

My personal involvement in supporting the Orchestra dates back to 2008, so it is a real pleasure for NBB Waldrons to continue our partnership with the CBSO for a seventh year.
