The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with DLA Piper's Birmingham Office for a second year.

Last year’s partnership was marked by several notable moments including a Conducting Workshop with CBSO musicians, where DLA Piper employees had the opportunity to collaborate and learn from one another in an innovative and creative setting.

Earlier this year, the partnership renewal was celebrated with an exclusive invitation to join CBSO Chair, Lord Tony Hall, at an event in support of the CBSO’s Sound of the Future campaign, a £12.5 million campaign which comes to an end in 2025 at The Inner Temple in London. Over the next 12 months, the partnership will continue to focus on people development and provide wellness opportunities for employees and clients, as well as working with Shireland CBSO Academy to deliver workplace skills sessions to children.

Noel Haywood, Managing Partner at DLA Piper’s Birmingham Office, said: "We're delighted to continue our partnership with the CBSO. This is not just about growing our client relationships in the UK and across our global platform – it's also about developing our team and investing in our Birmingham community. Our partnership with this fantastic orchestra is energetic and unique, and we're looking forward to our second year enormously."

Emma Stenning, Chief Executive of the CBSO, shared her excitement for the continued partnership: "I am grateful and excited that DLA Piper’s Birmingham Office has committed to renew its partnership with the CBSO. DLA Piper’s support and commitment to music in the West Midlands is generous, vital, and marks an important testament to the power and value of orchestral music to the people of the West Midlands. I look forward to more chances to collaborate and to celebrate music in partnership with DLA Piper’s Birmingham Office."
