My name is Darius Sandhu, I am the Councillor for Oscott ward in Birmingham.

I was elected to the Council in 2021 for Oscott ward at 20 years old, becoming the youngest Councillor elected and the first Councillor born in the 21st Century. I recently graduated from University of Wolverhampton with a Law Degree. In 2022, I became the Shadow Cabinet Member for Digital, Culture, Heritage and Tourism, a really interesting portfolio which of course the CBSO is central too!

I enjoy football and reading – I picked up a violin in year 2 and regret that I did not continue playing once I left secondary school, I can assure you that I have learnt my lesson!
