Jules Parke-Robinson joined the CBSO Board of Trustees in 2023, bringing extensive experience in leadership, governance, risk management and organisational resilience. She has built a career across military, corporate and sporting environments, combining strategic judgement with a strong commitment to public service, inclusion and high-performing teams.

Jules served for more than two decades in the British Army, specialising in military policing, investigations and operational leadership. During her military career she held senior command roles and was recognised with the Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service in 2014 for her work as Head of Military Police with British Forces in Afghanistan. Her experience has given her deep expertise in decision-making under pressure, governance, safeguarding, crisis response and people development.

Alongside her executive career, Jules has played an important role in national sport governance. She joined the Board of British Wheelchair Basketball in 2019 and was appointed Chair in 2020, helping to guide the organisation through a significant period of development for the sport. Her work in this field reflects her commitment to accessibility, opportunity and the power of teamwork to transform lives.

As a CBSO Trustee, Jules contributes valuable insight into strategy, governance, resilience and inclusive leadership. Her experience across complex organisations supports the Orchestra’s long-term development and its commitment to making outstanding musical experiences available to the widest possible audiences.
