This July, the CBSO will be stepping out of Symphony Hall and into the city, aiming to fill as many public spaces as possible with free live music.

Performances range from string quartets in Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens and space adventures at the Library of Birmingham for all the family, to live music on Birmingham's tram, brass quintets in museums, and even a performance from our fabulous Principal Harpist on the canal!

We’ll also be back under the departure boards in New Street Station to entertain commuters! Look out for people wearing CBSO t-shirts if you'd like a chance to conduct the orchestra.

Throughout the week, local audiences will be able to take advantage of our ‘£1 tickets’ offer! Anyone with a West Midlands postcode will be able to redeem the offer online on Tuesday 29 July, between 10am and 8pm. More details about this offer will be shared at performances throughout the week.

CBSO in the City runs from Wednesday 23 July – Monday 28 July, the full schedule of events can be found here.

We’re hugely grateful for the generous support provided by John Osborn CBE and NBB Law which has helped to make these events possible.
