Conductor Leonard Slatkin once said that John Williams was the most "influential composer of the twentieth century": given that Williams has composed some of the most recognisable themes in cinema history Slatkin probably has a point. These include – just for starters – Jaws, Superman, Harry Potter, E.T., Jurassic Park… need we say more?
