Three’s company: an afternoon of magical clarinet trios by Beethoven and Brahms.

When Beethoven wanted to relax, he listened to pop songs! And then he turned them into something altogether more extraordinary. That’s exactly what he does in his exuberant “Gassenhauer” trio. And then these three wonderful players turn inwards to the poignant emotions and autumn colours of Brahms at his most intimate. A concert of two halves, and they’re both winners.
