A musical journey for the whole family to enjoy.

Buckle up and join the CBSO on a musical road trip across the Americas. Along the way, you'll discover dances from their home countries - from passionate tangos and foot-stomping line dances to elegant ballets and swirling waltzes. There will be plenty of chances to sing, dance and join in!

Suitable for children aged 6+. All Family Concerts are British Sign Language interpreted.

About Family Concert: Dance Across the Americas

PRE-CONCERT EVENT

Join us for a pre-concert event ahead of the afternoon's performance. More information about the event will be published closer to the time.

Adventurous & Feel-good

'Mood markers' have been carefully assigned to each concert by CBSO Music Director Kazuki Yamada, visiting soloists and conductors, orchestra members and audiences.

If you’re new to this music or wanting to introduce it to a friend or family member, we hope that these badges help both signpost you towards the concerts that are perfect for you and encourage you to try something that you might not otherwise have considered.

So, whatever you’re in the mood for this season – you’re invited to discover your perfect music mix with us.
