Step into a sparkling winter wonderland with presenters Georgia Hannant and Matthew Hardy and musicians from the CBSO in this magical Notelets concert! Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker
comes to life through enchanting music, movement, and storytelling — perfect for little ears experiencing the orchestra for the first time. Expect festive fun, interactive moments, and the chance to dance along with sugar plum fairies and marching toy soldiers!
This hour-long interactive concert gives children the freedom to dance, sing and learn about musical instruments for the first time. Plus, there are free craft activities before each performance and a chance to meet the musicians and have a go at some of the instruments after the concert has finished.

Tickets for Notelets: The Nutcracker may be sold out, but there are some tickets remaining for our upcoming Notelets performance in February, Adventures in Space! Join presenter Helen Edgar and CBSO musicians for an out-of-this-world musical experience which will launch young imaginations into orbit with space-themed music, playful audience interaction, and lots of chances to and join in.
Recommended for toddlers and young children. All Notelets performances are British Sign Language interpreted. Tickets must be purchased for adults and all children over 9 months.
