An experienced orchestral musician, Georgia has performed in many of the UK’s most prestigious concert halls, under the batons of such world-class conductors as Semyon Bychkov, Edward Gardner and Sir Mark Elder. Having studied with Sophie Langdon at the Royal Academy of Music, where she completed her Masters with Distinction and was awarded the DipRAM for outstanding final recital, she has appeared on stage with orchestras on tour both in the UK and abroad. She led Shadwell Opera’s productions of Schoenberg's Erwartung, Turnage's Twice Through The Heart, and concert performances of the chamber arrangement for Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde, feeding her interest in 20th century and contemporary ensemble music. Georgia became a member of the Southbank Sinfonia in 2017, and as a soloist performed Korngold's Violin Concerto with them as part of their Rush Hour Concert Series. She has since enjoyed a successful professional career with orchestras across the UK, appearing regularly with the London Sinfonietta, the English National Ballet Philharmonic and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. While Georgia continues to be fascinated by making music with others, she is also passionate about outreach and education work. Presently, she coaches for charities including Orchestras for All and Play For Progress, each providing free musical experiences for underprivileged young people.
Georgia is the creator of Music Box - is a series of ten short videos designed to encourage children to sing, think about and participate in music.
