The CBSO announces Rush Hour Concert series for the 2025-26 Season, in partnership with West Midlands Metro

The CBSO's partnership with West Midlands Metro as the Official Travel Partner has been renewed for another 2 years, ensuring audiences can continue to enjoy discounted greener travel around Birmingham. As part of the renewal, the CBSO-branded tram has received an updated design, which can be seen along the line from Edgbaston to Wolverhampton.

The orchestra is also excited to announce that West Midlands Metro will be supporting our new series of Rush Hour Concerts for the 2025-26 Season. Starting at 6pm and lasting for up to an hour, Rush Hour Concerts bring a whole new level of convenience to live music. Audiences will have the opportunity to hear a full symphony orchestra alongside world famous conductors and soloists, and hear conductors and members of the orchestra share informal insights into the music – making these concerts ideal for anyone coming along for the first time.

These concerts are the perfect solution for those taking time to unwind after a day in the office, searching for a chance to escape the real world for an hour, or just looking for the best way to spend an hour before dinner.
