Born and raised in London, Angus’ love of music stemmed from growing up in a family of musicians. Fun fact, Angus's Mom, Margaret Campbell was Principal Flute for the CBSO in 1977-1986!
After studying engineering at the University of Cambridge he eventually decided to pursue music as a career, going on to complete a Master’s degree with distinction at the Royal Academy Of Music in 2021. He was then fortunate enough to join the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester for a couple of truly memorable tours around Europe that Summer.
He has since completed year-long fellowships with the Hallé and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, whilst freelancing with various orchestras across the UK.
Angus also enjoys playing chamber music, and writing arrangements of folk music and other musical styles. Outside of music his interests include learning languages and running up and down hills, when not playing football or ice hockey.
