Introduction

At 21 years old I was very fortunate to play the leading role in ‘We Will Rock You’ at the Dominion Theatre, and I had the opportunity of sharing the stage with Brian May and Roger Taylor. Seeing them both rising from the pit during ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ with Brian on guitar and Roger on drums was a real pinch me moment and an experience I will never forget.

Theatre and musicals have played a huge part in my life. I remember seeing ‘We Will Rock You’ as a teenager and saying out loud "I’m going to play that role of Galileo one day". For it to come true at such an early age is something I hold very dear to my heart. (I even have a little claim to fame too…. Brian May has bought me Domino’s Pizza!)

The vocals of Freddie Mercury and the music of Queen will live on forever. Freddie’s energy on stage, backed by some of the most legendary musicians of our generation, is something that has given me so much inspiration as a performer over the past 15 years.

Tonight, we celebrate an evening of Queen with the wonderful City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, taking you through a journey of some of their biggest hits.

With vocals from West End stars Rob Houchen, Nicole Raquel Dennis and Jodie Steele, conducted by the incredible Alfonso Casado Trigo, it will be a night to remember.

Let’s get ready to rock!
