Concerts specially designed for SEND pupils and Special Schools - FREE for Birmingham-based Special Schools and resource bases thanks to our partnership with Services for Education, or £6 each for non-Birmingham Schools.

Join presenter Jane Wright and a CBSO ensemble for a relaxed, interactive concert inspired by the classic story Alice in Wonderland. Designed for pupils with special educational needs, this welcoming performance takes audience members on an interactive musical journey through imaginary worlds.

With BSL interpretation by Sarah Butt, and a set of pre-concert resources to help familiarise pupils with the music and story, this one-hour experience offers a gentle introduction to live orchestral performance. Pupils are free to engage in whatever way suits them — moving, clapping, or simply enjoying the sounds of the riverbank.

All performances take place at the CBSO Centre, a fully accessible venue, and are delivered in partnership with Services for Education and the Birmingham Music Education Hub.
