Centre Stage: Brahms' Aspiration in Chamber Music

Join us at the home of the CBSO for an informal afternoon performance, programmed and introduced by CBSO musicians. These concerts give audiences the chance to get closer to the music and experience the artistry of our orchestra members in an intimate setting.
The third of his twenty-six chamber masterworks, Brahms' ambitious Piano Quartet No.1 presents rhythmic and dynamic elements typical of traditional Hungarian dances, evoking drama and spirit through the 'Gypsy style' rondo and brought to life by CBSO musicians.
Centre Stage concerts are generously supported by John Osborn CBE.
