Centre Stage: Viola Extravaganza

Join us at the home of the CBSO for an informal afternoon performance, programmed and introduced by CBSO musicians. These concerts give audiences the chance to get closer to the music and experience the artistry of our orchestra members in an intimate setting.
Get to know our viola section and hear them in ways you have never heard them before. This concert brings audiences an eclectic mixture of repertoire, showcasing the instrument and its versatile sound.
Centre Stage concerts are generously supported by John Osborn CBE.
About Centre Stage: Viola Extravaganza
ADVENTUROUS, REFLECTIVE & FEEL-GOOD
'Mood markers' have been carefully assigned to each concert by CBSO Music Director Kazuki Yamada, visiting soloists and conductors, orchestra members and audiences.
If you’re new to this music or wanting to introduce it to a friend or family member, we hope that these badges help both signpost you towards the concerts that are perfect for you and encourage you to try something that you might not otherwise have considered.
So, whatever you’re in the mood for this season – you’re invited to discover your perfect music mix with us.
