Do you or someone you know play the clarinet or saxophone? You can be part of something special this August with the CBSO and Jess Gillam.

CBSO in the City returns for its third consecutive year: five days of unmissable, free live music across Birmingham and you’re invited to join us.

We’re looking for enthusiastic musicians who play either the saxophone or clarinet to join us for a day of music-making in the heart of Birmingham. Led by CBSO Collaborative Artist Jess Gillam on Saturday 29 August, you’ll take part in a morning rehearsal, and in the afternoon perform at Brindleyplace as part of CBSO in the City.

This friendly and fun session is open to Saxophone (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone), Clarinet and Bass Clarinet players. You must be able to read music and we recommend that participants play at least to Grade 5 level in their chosen instrument.
