Access

Everyone is welcome at CBSO concerts! Symphony Hall, Town Hall, and CBSO Centre are all accessible venues.

Symphony Hall & Town Hall

If you are attending CBSO concerts at Symphony Hall or Town Hall and have additional access requirements, we would suggest joining the B:Music Access Scheme.

This scheme is free to join and offers:

  • A free companion ticket for visitors with access requirements who need assistance
  • A dedicated access phone line
  • Opportunity to book one of the limited accessible parking spaces at Symphony Hall. (Please note, after you have booked your tickets the Box Office will contact you via email if these limited accessible parking spaces become available. They can then be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.)

To find out more about accessibility at Symphony Hall and Town Hall, or to join the Access Scheme, visit the B:Music website. You can also contact the Box Office by calling 0121 780 3333.

HEARING AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED AUDIENCE MEMBERS

Symphony Hall is equipped with an infrared hearing enhancement system, which you can use in conjunction with a hearing aid or with earphones.
Guide dogs and Hearing dogs are welcome. You can keep them with you in the auditorium during the event, or we will be happy to look after your dog in the foyer while you enjoy the performance.

BSL Interpretation

All of our Family, Notelets and Schools concerts are BSL-interpreted, as are some of our main season performances. When booking, keep an eye out for any seats marked as providing the best view of the interpreter.

WHEELCHAIR POSITIONS

Spaces for patrons who need to stay in their wheelchair during the performance are on the Stalls/Upper Circle levels of Symphony Hall and Stalls/Circle levels of Town Hall.

For visitors with access requirements who need assistance from a companion, a complimentary carer ticket can be added during the booking process.
