In this concert, enjoy a powerful and exciting performance of all-American string repertoire. Born out of a series of improvisations, Montgomery's Break Away draws on different styles of music, from hip-hop to electronica to twentieth-century modern. Adams' Shaker Loops explores the concept of oscillations and repeating loops in the form of string playing, portraying an image of Shakers dancing to lively, rhythmic music.
